To get the Operation Description added to the Production Grid with minimal effort.

1. Navigate to: C:\inetpub\wwwroot\PaperLess\ExternalData – (your Paper-Less folder name may be different than mine)

2. Open up MOROUT.XML and add the following to the file. Remember to Save.

                    <StringColumn name="OperationDescription" erpColumn="OPDSC" dataType="CHARACTER"/>

3. Navigate to C:\inetpub\wwwroot\PaperLess.OAGIS.Provider\ExternalData – (your Paper-Less OAGIS folder name may be different than mine)

4. Open up MOROUT.XML and add the following to the file. Remember to Save.

                    <StringColumn name="OperationDescription" erpColumn="OPDSC" dataType="CHARACTER"/>

5. Perform a Full-Sync over Manufacturing Order Operations. Because we already journal OPDSC we don’t need to add it to the iSeries journaled files.

6. Add the Operation Description External Data to the Production Job Grid.
