If iSeries storage uses an ASP device, the following changes will need to be made to the MESxy subsystem description:
CHGJOBD JOBD(MESxy/MESxy) Prompt with F4
The example below shows the job description created for MESBH environment

Set the initial ASP Group to the name of your ASP
Press enter to complete the job description change.
You will need to restart the MES subsystem for it to use the new job description.

WRKACTJOB to verify the subsystem and STRJRNMON are Running correctly -
